Key Command not working for Card Saves MacOS

On MacOS Mochi (Version 1.19.3 (1.19.3)) when I create a new card (N) and want to save it the tooltip says: "Click to save [ESC]" but when I press ESC I get a pop up window asking if I want to "Discard Changes?". The only way to save the change is to manually click the button.

Also maybe something universally used for saves could be used here instead of ESC like CMD+S?

Seems like this only occurs when I'm using the Basic Card template.

For reference this is specifically when using a template in column view. You can use CMD+Enter to save in that case. The tooltip needs to be updated for when a template is being used.
