When reviewing new cards, if I swipe left (meaning 'I don't remember'), does this add the card to my review schedule?
I'm asking because I've only seen a scheduling confirmation in the UI when I swipe right ('I remember') on a new card.

@Matt is this correct? This feels inconsistent with the docs that show that "New cards" should have a Again | Add to review labeling: https://www.mochi.cards/docs/reviewing/new-cards/
That said, the UI in the product shows Forget | Remember which is right?
No the new cards are not added to the schedule until you are able to remember them once.

Follow up on this question: If I get a card wrong, then review my missed cards later today and get it right, does the system count it as 'correct for today' or still 'incorrect for today' when deciding when to show it next?

It will count it as "incorrect for today". If you get it wrong again during re-review, it will count as another miss, and the interval will reset to 1 day.
@🤴🏽 The copy in the docs is a little outdated, I'll update that. The copy in the app has changed, but the behavior is the same. New cards stay new until the first correct review.
