[URGENT] [BUG] Broken template: Template card fields not saving at all

Short description:

I ran into an odd issue where the fields in a template refuses to save.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Use default template
  2. Enter Front & Back fields in column view
  3. Press the "save" icon (the little eye)
  4. Card stays empty

Other info:

AI fields still run without content prompt.

Workarounds:

Refrain from using templates at all - very disappointing.

Device information:

MacOS, iPadOS, iOS all observed.

App version 1.18.10 (20250416).

Thanks for reporting. This will be fixed in the next version (1.18.11). Additional workarounds for now:

  • Use ctrl/cmd+enter to save when a field is focused.
  • Use a different deck view.
