How to copy/duplicate groups of cards?

After completing an exam I use to scrutinize my cards and look for those worthy of being repeated. In this way I can keep having an idea of the most important concepts of the course I have passed. To do so, I copy those selected cards in a different deck; in this way I can preserve the integrity of the deck specific of that exam.

I am aware of the "duplicate" option, however it is available for only one card at a time, a tiring procedure if there are many selected cards.

Any idea on how I could manage this?

Hmm It seems I never added a bulk duplicate action. Maybe I can add that in a future version. I think in the meantime there are probably other workflows you can use to achieve this.

First I would begin by cloning the original deck. From there you have a few options on how to proceed. You could go into cram mode and simply delete the cards you no longer need with the D keyboard shortcut. (You could also do this with the original deck but instead of deleting the cards just archive them so that they don't show up in the review schedule).

Another option would be to select all of the cards on the deck page that you want to keep and move them to a third deck. Then delete the originally cloned deck that will now just contain all of the left over cards.

You could select all of the cards you want and apply some tag to them. Then filter for any cards without that tag and select all + delete.

There are a few different ways you could do this but those are just a couple.
