Feature Request: Brush Tool or Rotatable Rectangle for Hiding Labels on Diagram Cards

Hi Mochi Team,

First of all, thank you for building such a mind-blowing flashcard app. It's minimalist, powerful, and incredibly stable—honestly, better than Anki or Remnote in many ways. Mochi feels underrated, but to me, it's a gem. I'm truly grateful for this app.

As a Mochi Pro user, I rely on it every day for my study and learning workflow.

But today, I have a feature request for you, which arises from a little pain while using Mochi.

While creating diagram cards, I’ve encountered a challenge. When trying to hide a label or name that is positioned diagonally (i.e., not aligned horizontally or vertically), I’m forced to use a large rectangular mask to cover it. This often hides other important details in an already congested map or diagram.

A couple of feature ideas that could help:

  • Brush tool: To allow more precise masking of only the label, without covering surrounding elements.
  • Rotatable rectangle: Even the ability to rotate the existing rectangular hide box would help align it to non-horizontal labels.

I hope I’ve explained the issue clearly. I would be really grateful if you consider adding this.

Thank you again for creating Mochi. It’s a unique and valuable tool.
