Add related note from selected text I love how we can create new cards from selected text (select text in editing view, then `CMD+N`). This workflow creates a new card and links it to the current card automatically. I wish we could also link existing cards to some selected text. I understand we can type `[[` in editing view which... A: How can I review cards in the order I created them? 1. Go to the deck you want to study cards from. 2. Apply a filter to only include new cards. You would select `New` and turn on the toggle. 3. Click on `Cram`. 4. On top-right of the cram page, you can `Sort` the order. Play around with the `Date created` option and the `Ascending` toggle to get t... (more) |

SuperMemo deals with this problem using the concept of *Priority Queue*. The user assigns a priority value from 1 to 10 at the time of adding a new card. Then, during review, higher priority cards that are due on that day are shown first. This way, you can be sure that the most important cards are re... (more) |

A: Daily review limits I think Mochi only has "Limit new cards" function. I've seen Matt talk about this on reddit (I think). He said he wanted to balance reviews between old overdue cards and fresh due cards. As of now, there is no way to adjust this. (more) |

I'll give you a concrete example: I have a question bank with about 500 questions, split between aircraft limitation questions and system questions. Each category is further divided between the various aircraft systems: pressurization, hydraulic, auto flight, etc. So I created a system of nested t... (more) |

Mochi for Note-Taking Mochi, as a note-taking tool, is severely underrated. It's been 2 months since I started heavily using it daily. The first month I used it purely as a flashcards app with spaced repetition, which was an incredibly successful use case. One specific "Oh my God, that's awesome" moment was when I reviewe... I'm not on Taho, but I've noticed a weird bug. It's regarding the top section of every deck page. All clickable areas in this region, except the bottom 5 pixels are kind of masked out by an invisible barrier. This makes buttons impossible to click, unless the mouse is hovered on the very lower parts.... (more) |

Pretty much every UI element is customizable with CSS. I've been heavily editing it for a while now. Can you show me exactly the elements you want larger? I may be able to give you the CSS to import.
If you're already familiar with this sort of thing, have a look at my theme [here](https://github.... (more) |

Sorry I hit post by mistake.
1. Go to the deck you want to study cards from.
2. Apply a filter to only include new cards. You would select `New` and turn on the toggle.
3. Click on Cram.
4. On top-right of the cram page, you can `Sort` the order.
5. By default, when you click `Remember` (or hi... (more) |

Hey Megan.
If you're doing this from the "New cards" tab, you are right, there is no where to customize the order or do any kind of filtering. I suggest the following workaround:
1. Go to the deck page
2. Apply a filter to only include new card. You would select `New
3. Click on `Cram`

FSRS Parameters Hi 👋🏼 I was wondering if Matt could provide a brief write up about the default FSRS parameters in Mochi. I've had great success studying 550 cards for an exam, but my inner nerd wants to know why these parameters were chosen, as they don't seem to be inline with any of the official FSRS versions (... Everforest Theme I breath Everforest. Mochi is a delight to use as is, but when I discovered I could edit the theme, I went full on to implement my favorite. It's a work in progress but I did not want to wait any longer to share it. The source code is available on GitHub, but you can follow the instructions below if ... (more) |

Yea I noticed that too, but I'm not sure if it's a bug. Mochi displays the cards from the bottom up. Without any sorting, newest are shown on top. When sorting, it starts from the bottom. So with an alphabetical sort, it starts with A at the very bottom and ends with A on top, so you see the A cards ... (more) |

A few feature requests I’ve been heavily using this incredible app for a few weeks now. The UI and UX are so well thought out that I get excited just using the app and, as a result, get motivated to actually study with it. Since the developer is highly responsive, I thought I’d share some suggestions to further enrich this... (more) |

Filtered "New cards" Hi! Is it possible to start reviewing new cards with filters? I had created 200 cards with different tags in one deck, then I tried reviewing them (and thus adding them to the review system) but I wanted to do this for select tags only. I understand I could filter a deck and do a "cram", but c... (more) |

[UI Anomaly] Text toolbox clipped behind the sidebar Depending on the zoom level and the sidebar width, part of the text toolbox may get clipped, especially when selected text is towards the left side of the card. This can happen in any view. Love the app. Awesome developer. (more) |
