A: How to add pinyin to an imported Anki deck? The dot in the field name is what breaks it. Since this survives export and import, the archive will tell you what changed. Rename the exported .mochi to .zip, open it, and look at one broken card in data.edn (or data.json).

Referencing attachments inside a .mochi archive The export format reference documents data.edn and says an archive can contain media files, but I could not find how a card's markdown should reference an attachment shipping inside the same archive.
