Comment Post #84 FSRS has been added in the development branch and will be available in the next beta release. Keep in mind, though, that a lot of talk about FSRS and its efficiency gains are in comparison to the previous Anki algorithm, which was already quite flawed. For example in the article the author says: >...

Answer A: Combining cloze deletions and typed answer cards
Hmm, I don't think there is a way to do that right now. I would need to add an attribute to the `` element to give it an index, like the way cloze deletions can be indexed (1, 2 3, etc.).

Answer A: Card Changes API
Hey Brian, Unfortunately the API does not support those kinds of queries, but I agree it would be super useful to be able to do that kind of thing with the API. If you email me (matt at mochi.cards) I might be able to help you set something up with the private API.

Answer A: How to import new cards
Hey Sergei, To separate flashcards into multiple sides, you can use the horizontal rule markdown (specifically three dashes `---`). For example: Side A --- Side B You can learn more about how to use markdown within Mochi from this section in the docs. I think in order to get...

Answer A: Deck order in the "New cards" section
The closest thing at the moment is to use the new cards queue for each deck individually. To do that you will need to navigate to the deck you want to learn cards from and click the "New cards" button at the top right. If there are cards due for that deck it will say "Review" but if you click the dro...

Comment Post #58 It is technically possible now. In the deck preferences for the main deck, there is an option to "Show cards from subdecks." When this is turned on the cram mode will include all cards from all subdecks as well. The option is a little hard to find, and unfortunately it cannot be applied on a per-v...

Comment Post #56 > I could use hidden text, but during reviews that would mean clicking to reveal it each time You can also use the space bar to reveal hidden text. > I also appreciate the tip about the three-dashes workaround. It's not so much a workaround as a core mechanic of the app. (almost) Everything...

Thanks guys! Glad you like. I had pretty much the same experience with Anki and Quizlet, which is why I started Mochi. There is still some work to be done but I am pretty happy with how it has turned out.

Answer A: Add flashcard by default using N?
So in Mochi the most basic type of card is what I will call a "note card" (what you are calling "business card" above). It is a single-sided markdown card suitable for creating zettelkasten-style notes, or flashcards with hidden text, for example. However by adding three dashes (`---`) somewhere o...

You're right, these roadmap items are a bit outdated. Priorities tend to change somewhat frequently, often based on feedback from users, or developments in the surrounding space. This has made it a little tricky for me to maintain a reliable public roadmap. My current priorities are: 1. Push no...
